Lantus is an injection insulin pen used by patients with type 1 (insulin-dependent) and type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus. Lantus insulin is a long-acting insulin analogue – insulin glargine. It controls the blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus.
